We have an exciting afternoon planned! We will divide the class in half. for 2 related events.
1. At the Visitors Center, Neil Curry, retired Director of the CANC, will help us identify waterfowl. This can be a tricky skill since these birds are usually spotted in groups far away in the water.
2. While half the class learns to ID waterfowl, the other half will proceed to the Marina on Hwy 10 for a lake cruise with Matthew Friant, PMSP Interpreter. Our goal is to see eagles, but we can guarantee seeing waterfowl, hence the waterfowl ID skills! It is COLD on the water, so dress appropriately and bring binoculars.
