The day begins at the Ben Geren Regional Park golf pro shop, where Don Steinkraud will present a program on insects. Over the lunch period, we'll transfer to Janet Huckabee River Valley Nature Center for their program All About Mushrooms. The classroom session is followed by a guided hike searching for mushrooms. Wear comfortable shoes for the guided hike. Bring your smart phone to practise macrophotography. Bring a lunch or pick up something during the transition.
