CAMN* Invasive Species Removal Event

Join us for a Day of Stewardship and Citizen Science on February 15th at 9:00 am at the UofA Cooperative Extension Service Office, 2301 S University.

Training, tools, and gloves will be provided. Please wear long pants. long sleeves, and sturdy shoes.

The demonstration will include the following treatments: Mechanical removal, cut and paint stump (two different chemicals), foliar application (after all volunteers are gone), and maybe a basal bark treatment.

Removing non-native invasive plants improves ecosystem services by improving native plant and wildlife habitat and water quality.
