Beginner Bird Walk with Marilyn Doran at Fred Berry

Fred Berry Conservation Education Center Facility Manager, Marilyn Doran, will lead beginning birdwatchers on a walk from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Thursday, January 21. What to expect? This program is for beginning birders. Participants will learn how to use binoculars, identify birds, and use field guides. Marilyn will introduce the Wings Over Arkansas program and provide hand-outs to help any beginner get started enjoying Arkansas birds. If it rains, the event will be scheduled for a better weather day. This event is limited to six participants. What to bring? The program will start outside at the pavilion and move to the trails for the walk, so dress for the cold weather! Binoculars will be provided, but if you have your own, bring them. This is for beginners. Limit is six participants. Binoculars are available or bring your own.
