Chandler Barton is the state&#39;s Forest Health Specialist with the Arkansas Department of Agriculture Forestry Division. Part of his job is conducting aerial surveys and investigating unusual occurrences of forest insects and diseases across the state. He&#39;s also a new dad as well and claims that his biggest challenge these days is figuring out how to raise a baby &#128522;<br /> <br /><br />Arkansas’s forest health condition can be assessed by considering several indicators. Generally, our forests are healthy, but occasionally landscape scale disturbances negatively affect growth.
