Nature Journaling with Leslie Patrick (ANHC)

Nature journaling is the practice of observing, documenting, describing, questioning, and reflecting on the natural world around us. During this program, Leslie leads participants through relaxed, hands-on exercises to explore journaling methods, including note-taking, sketching, drawing, and writing. Participants learn how to assess their own journal entries to improve their journaling experiences. She'll demonstrate some techniques, lead us in some group activities, and give everyone time to do some individual activities out on the grounds or trails at the nature center. Supplies are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them, such as a sketchbook or notebook, pencils, pens, and/or markers.

Regarding supplies: spiral sketchbooks about 6x8 to 8x10, cheap mechanical pencils, colored pencils or watercolor pencils. Whatever you enjoy and are comfortable using is best, but nothing expensive or special? is required.
