Hike Panther Creek new trail

8-mile hike on newly excavated "Ozark Keystone Trail", shore of Norfork Lake from Panther Creek Crossing up lake to Robinson Point trailhead. We'll be some of the first members of the public to hike this virgin trail section, part of the 350-mile Ozark Highlands Trail. Rolling terrain, moderate (possibly challenging).

Bring lunch & drinks, meet at Robinson Point trailhead, shuttle to Panther Creek Crossing on CR 396 off Hwy 62 (east of ScubaDoo shop). Hike 8 miles back to Robinson Point trailhead parking.

Directions. From Mountain Home Walmart, drive 5 miles east on U.S. Highway 62, turn right on Robinson Point Road, drive 2.3 miles, trailhead on right near park entrance. GPS 36.357073, -92.24674, or N36 21'25", W92 14'48".
