Trail Patrol Norfork Trail 4 Tracy Park

Norfork Trail, 1 of 5 sections, annual trail maintenance, record your hours sponsor US ArmyCorpsEngineers. Bring work gloves, loppers, clippers, or use our power tools. The 13-mile linear Norfork Trail is comprised of five sections, separated by six trailheads. Moderate challenge, one 160&#39; vertical slope, 4 ravine crossings slippery when wet.<br /><br />Most will rendezvous Tracy Park trailhead, located near Lake Norfork, from Mountain Home Bypass, drive 4.1 miles south on Highway 5. Turn left on AR 341 (Tracy Ferry Road) and drive 1.8 mile on AR 341 to a fork. Take right fork Tracy Ferry Road 1.1 mile to the trailhead crossing. (The left fork is AR 341 to CR 1028 trailhead located on Fish &amp; Fiddle Road). GPS N36 17&#39;55&quot;, W92 16&#39;17&quot;. <br /><br />We may send a few to Georges Cove trailhead at the south end. Directions, from Mountain Home Bypass, drive 4.6 miles south on Highway 5. Turn left on AR 342 (Sycamore Springs Road) and drive 3.2 miles. Turn right at “boat launch” sign and drive &#188; mile. GPS N36 17&#39;35&quot;, W92 15&#39;22&quot;. <br /><br />Need 2-3 leaf blowers, nail trailite markers to trees, loose rocks on tread, loppers &amp; clippers, 2 trimmers for scattered weeds, 7 chainsaw blowdowns.
