Volunteer Training at BGO
When: Wednesday, August 31, 2022 – 12:00 – 2:00 PM
Friday, September 9, 2022 – 9:30 – 11:30 AM (Rescheduled)
Where: Botanical Garden of the Ozarks
What: Interested in helping children learn about nature, gardens, or butterflies? There will be a training at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks to acquaint volunteers with activities that will be used for school field trips. These activities have already been designed and you would just be learning how to use them with different classes. Many of them are butterfly related, but here's a need to share information about other things like the Natives Garden. The training will be hands-on so that you will feel comfortable leading the game or session. We want to walk you through them so you can see which you might enjoy leading or assisting.
Contact Kitty Sanders at kittysanders4@gmail.com to let us know if you can make it. If unable to attend either meeting, but are still interested, let her know.
