About this event
Blanchard Springs campground, spur trail leading to Syllamo Bike Trail, trail maintenance. Bring lunch & beverage, swimsuit optional. This project will clear trail for "Bad Jack Festival", 3 days of trail races. Bring clippers/loppers, or use our tools. Trail length 1.5 mile, partly uphill. Arrive early, USFS paperwork & safety talk.<br /><br />Directions... GPS 35.97132 -92.17236. 51 miles/70 minutes from Mountain Home. From Sheid Bypass, drive 40 miles to Allison, turn right Highway 14, drive 6½ miles up to Blanchard Springs entrance, drive 2½ miles down to campground, pass the pavilion, do not turn right to swimming area drive straight across low water bridge to remote camping area, see trailhead on right next to County Road 52.<br /><br />Report your hours U.S. Forest Service.
