Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists

Welcome! Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists (NWAMN) are an active group of volunteers who enjoy working together on many types of projects. These include:

- Invasive species removal
- Presenting public nature programs
- Native plant seed collection, propagation, and plant sales
- Creating native plant gardens in various parks
- Stream quality analysis
- Wildlife habitat restoration
- And more.

We also partner with many area agencies to provide help or volunteers for special events. These include Hobbs State Park, Illinois River Watershed Alliance, Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission, and Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.

With this much variety, there's a place for you. Signups happen from October 1st to December 15th for Naturalist in Training classes in 2024. Click here for more details.

NWAMN provides financial assistance to like-minded organizations for projects that support our core mission: to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within our communities.
