Social Walk/Hike at Whittington Park
About this event
We will meet at Whittington Park at 10:00 a.m. for coffee/hot chocolate, fellowship, and a one mile walk on the path that circles Whittington Park. The path is level and smooth. There is no elevation change for this easy walk/hike. Whittington Park is rich in its diversity of trees. We will re-introduce the self-guided tree identification study we used at the beginning of the pandemic. Park on the south side between the jug fountain and the entrance to West Mtn Drive where the road widens.
