North Sylalmore Creek Trail from Gunner Pool Campground upstream toward Barkshed and back to parking area. The forecast is for cooler temps so this will not be a water hike (sorry!) but bring your water shoes in case they're wrong! Also bring bug repellant, a hiking stick and sturdy shoes,as well as a sack lunch to eat on the trail. We usually hike approx. 4 hours. Dress for the day. For carpooling/caravaning, meet by 9 AM at Mtn Home Library. We will travel 5 South to Allison then west on Hwy 14 to the Gunner Pool sign for 3 miles of gravel that ends at Gunner Pool. This is approximately an hour drive so we should begin our Walk approx. 10:15 til approx. 2 pm plus lunch time. Plan on a 6-7 hour day.
