Volunteers - Bad Jack's Trail Festival 2023, endurance races, Saturday 13/26 mile runs, Sunday 16/26 mile mountain bike races. Aid station volunteers provide food and drink and support in the event of injury/exhaustion. Vol. stations located along Syllamo Mountain Bike Trail, near Blanchard Springs. Stations convenient to pretty clean vault toilet. Bring a lawn chair. Our volunteer stations are by Green Mountain Road both days, different trailhead locations on the Syllamo Mountain Bike Trail. Free shirt and lunch for volunteers. Only 3-4 volunteers needed each day. Optional delicious lunch served at Blanchard Springs campground pavilion, you volunteers are invited. There is a short cut down to Blanchard Springs campground & pavilion, located by Bad Branch trailhead.

Directions from Mountain Home Sheid Bypass, drive 40 miles (50 minutes) south on Highway 5. Approx 15 miles past Calico Rock, turn right on Green Mountain Road. You missed the turnoff If you see JoJo’s resort or Allison crossroads, do not go to campground for race start. Green Mountain Road is gravel, uphill at first, with three trailheads (T/H). At 1¼ mile, pass by White River Bluff T/H, continue past this trailhead. At mile 4, we rendezvous Saturday at Scrappy Mountain T/H. Our Saturday station is ½ mile from this trailhead.
