About this event
With a lot of attention being paid to next Spring’s total eclipse, it would be easy to miss a near total eclipse this October. But our own in-house astronomer, Jerry Simmons, is going to provide us with a chance to not only view this astral phenomenon but will conduct a class on the basics of astronomy. Jerry has been an amateur astronomer for 45 years and is currently teaching a monthly class at the Garland County Library.
Jerry’s class will begin at 9 am and will be held in the classroom at Lake Ouachita State Park.
An opportunity for NIT training or Continuing Education.
