Type of Project: AGFC Acres for Wildlife Deployment of native seeds on Larry Price’s acreage.

NiTs are WELCOME and ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!!!!! (Pizza and snacks provided)
Larry has some extra native plants that need good homes.

AGFC provided some seed and Larry has been harvesting a variety of seeds for this project since May.
Some seed will be deployed mechanically, but much of it needs to be sown by hand. (FAMN collects seeds from Larry’s acres for multiple projects – the Bluffton planting in January is one)

General Directions:

From Conway, take I-40 West to Exit 84 and turn right on Bradley Cove Road (you will pass a large Flying J truck-stop on the right), approximately 1.5 miles, turn right on Old Cove Road and travel 0.3 miles and Larry’s place will be on the left. Larry has 2 entries. We will be using the 2nd entry. -The Pollinator Habitat sign marks the first entry. The 2nd entry is about 300ft farther, marked with an AGFC sign, FAMN sign and small flags.

What to Bring/Wear:

* Appropriate Clothing for weather with hiking/walking shoes
* Gloves
* if you have one - a bucket to carry with seed/sand mixture while sowing/throwing seeds

Carpool/caravan is available. Meet at Robert's house no later than 11:30. Please contact Robert the previous evening to coordinate.
