Russellville Larry Price Property: 35.278763,-93.063873 (copy and paste coordinates into Google Earth)
2nd Driveway, Parking by Barn.
Type of Project: AGFC Acres for Wildlife controlled burn of approximately 2.0 acres for native habitat; this event is weather dependent. Currently, Tuesday looks to be good weather conditions for a controlled burn.
NiTs are WELCOME and ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!!!!!
General Directions:
From Conway, take I-40 West to Exit 84 and turn right on Bradley Cove Road (you will pass a large Flying J truck-stop on the right), approximately 1.5 miles, turn right on Old Cove Road and travel 0.3 miles and Larry’s place will be on the left. Larry has 2 entries. We will be using the 2nd entry. -The Pollinator Habitat sign marks the first entry. The 2nd entry is about 300ft farther, marked with an AGFC and Master Naturalist Working signs.
What to Bring/Wear:
* COTTON clothing, preferably heavy jeans/cotton shirt.
* Leather Gloves
* Boots (preferably Leather)
Carpool/caravan is available. Meet at Robert's house no later than 12:15. Please contact Robert the previous evening to coordinate.
