This outing will involve maintenance and invasive removal (Chinese Sumac - see link below) at Sid Vogelpohl’s property and off the Magazine Mountain Scenic Byway southeast of Paris, AR. Sid is a long-time member of the Arkansas Native Plant Society (ANPS), author of the “Know Your Natives” articles and host for FAMN educational outings; Sid has written hundreds of detailed write-ups describing native plants of Arkansas, nearly all of which are from his property.
Please wear good walking/hiking shoes, long pants, leather gloves, bring water and bug repellent.

Sid Vogelpohl’s Property south of Paris, AR (GPS Coordinates: 35.275276,-93.694530); physical address is: 2480 South Highway 309, Paris. It is a pretty good haul, but well worth the trip and a beautiful drive!
