FAMN - Native Seed Collection/Processing

Native seed collection & seed processing – we may collect more than 1 species (at Larry’s discretion) as well as seed processing and screening for previously collected seeds.
Please bring water, small loppers or rose snips and a small bucket or bag. No experience is necessary. Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists are invited. Tick repellent is advised.

The beneficiary of this project is the seeding of the old baseball field at Dardanelle Lock and Dam with locally accessed native wildflowers. This project will be a joint endeavor of Foothills Master Naturalist, Pope County Master Gardeners and The US Army Corps of Engineers.

This sort of activity is weather dependent, so cancellation and rescheduling could be necessary.

NiTs are WELCOME and ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!!!!!
