About this event
One of the cornerstones of the Master Naturalist program is education. Since we often find ourselves interacting with the public, it is only prudent that we educate ourselves in how best to communicate with and educate the folks we meet in nature. Building our skills in nature interpretation is a great start. Master Naturalist Aaron Boswell will be teaching a class on the art and skill of being a park interpreter. Every member will benefit from this class.
Aaron has been in law enforcement and with the justice department. He has also worked as a certified interpretive guide for fifteen years. Aaron is currently working with the Corps of Engineers.
This class will take place in the classroom at Lake Ouachita State Park on September 21. It will run from 9am until 12 noon. You may want to bring a lunch.
This class will count towards NIT training and continuing education hours.
