DLAMN - Wildflower Seed Collecting and Propagation
About this event
Master Gardners AND Master Naturalists Linda Fleming and Marty Lynch will conduct a class on collecting and propagating wildflower seeds. We will also learn about the milkweed plant and have the opportunity to plant milkweed seeds.
The class will be held at the Learning Greenhouse, located behind the Garland County Detention Center. The address is 3564 Albert Pike Road. Follow the drive around the detention center to the greenhouse. You will want to bring a stool or folding chair. You may also want to wear a hat or visor because of the brightness in the greenhouse. All other equipment will be provided.
The class will be held from 9am until noon. Because of the space in the greenhouse, the class will be limited to 20, so please register below. This class will count for 3 hours of NIT training or NAT continuing ed.
