NCA beautify Rim Shoals river trail

About this event

Scenic riverbank trail, basic maintenance & remove invasive plants. Cookout & beverages provided by our partner Trout Unlimited. Register by April 13 so T.U. can grill burgers & brats. Master Naturalists will remove invasive plant species where native plants are suppressed by privet & honeysuckle (bush and vining) while TU executes routine trail maintenance.

Rim Shoals is an easy 3/4 mile river bank track trail including walk-in access to White River anglers. Bring your favorite weeding tool, pruners or loppers & gloves. Log your time as Invasive Species Removal ... sponsor AGFC-NCAMN.

Directions: RimShoals Trailhead is located 5½ miles south of Gassville, at 267 Rim Shoals Camp, on the White River. Turn south on CR 4 or Buford Cutoff, drive 2 miles south, turn right onto Rim Shoals Road (CR 58), drive 1½ mile past railroad tracks, make hard left at Rim Shoals Resort and drive to trailhead at end of this road. GPS 36.255936 -92.469854.
