BioBlast `25 registration is now OPEN! WooHoo!
We are limiting attendance to 150 this year and we are anticipating it filling up quickly! We have 19 presenters offering 21 classroom presentations and/or field trips. We (I say 'we" because your very own Emily Flora and I have been doing the planning again this year) have changed a few things up this year. For example, Friday night will include a full buffet meal rather than hors d'oeuvres like last year. Also, lunch on Saturday will be also be a regular meal rather than boxed lunches - and NO BUSINESS MEETING so you can just enjoy visiting with old friends and making new ones. We are excited!
Another change we made was in the registration process. This year we will do a two-step process. You will register through the AMN website homepage, BUT you must sign in ( Log In Here) to be able to see it). Within a couple weeks of registering, you will then receive a separate email from SANDY MOORE with a link to sign-up for the specific presentations, field trips, meals, etc. that you wish to attend. Full presentation and event descriptions will be posted on the website in about a week and may accompany the email you receive after registering (we are still working out some of those details).
Sadly, the push for corporate sponsorships did not go so well. Apparently we are far better at doing 'ground work' than asking for money, which isn't a bad thing!! LOL So, registration for BioBlast will be $75/person this year, payable when you register. If you do not plan to attend, but would like to make a donation to help offset BioBlast costs, there is a link for that on the AMN homepage too (logging in not necessary for donations).
