DLAMN -Journaling: Drawing Trees

About this event

One of the best wintertime drawing activities is to draw trees - their underlying structures are so visible at this time. We will look at some ways to draw trees and ways to identify them via their bark and growth habits. Then, depending on the weather, we may try out some tree drawing with ink, either at Whittington Park or inside at the church. No need to bring supplies - I will have paper and pens (including some dip pens for anyone wanting to try them out). You are welcome to bring your own sketchbooks and materials if you like.
For NITs out there, our drawing classes are great for absolute beginners! I focus on how we can slow down and really take note of the natural world when we are engaged in looking intently at it. No previous experience required!
