DLAMN - Ecoregions

About this event

Explore the incredible natural diversity of Arkansas through an in-depth look at the state's six major ecological regions. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn what defines each ecoregion (geology, soils, native plants, and wildlife) and how these natural features have influenced patterns of settlement, agriculture and development across the state.
The class will be led by Erica Benoit, Education and Outreach Specialist with the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. She develops programs that connect Arkansans to the state's ecoregions, rare species and natural areas.
