CAMNation -
This Saturday's Boom Blast at Benny Craig Park will be moved to the boat ramp at Interstate Park.
The time is still 9:00a-12:00p.
The Johnson grass and ragweed on both sides of the boat ramp need to be cut back, and there's litter around the boat ramp that needs to be extracted.
The water at Benny Craig is too shallow even to launch a canoe.
We'll have the CAMN brush cutter there and a weed whacker or two. Bring a weed whacker if you can.
We'll have the canoe fleet there for those who want to float around and extract litter out of the creek and off the shoreline. The water is too shallow to launch the CAMN jon boat.
We'll likely have to pull some limb snags and all away between the railroad bridge piers to get further upstream of the railroad bridge.
The low temp Friday night/Saturday morning is expected to be 68, warming up to 93. Bring plenty of water. We'll have a water jug there to refill your water bottles.
