FAMN Education - Environmental Interpretation
About this event
We will meet at the Woolly Hollow State Park pavilion to learn about Environmental Interpretation from Hannah Hayes, park interpreter. Please plan for the weather with lots of cold water! This venue is outside, but shaded.
The second half of the day is weather dependent. Assuming the heat is tolerable, we will proceed with volunteer activities. We will weed the native bed, check on chinquapins and the next prairie planting at the park. Bring gardening gloves, a knee pad if desired, sun protective clothing, a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and your lunch.
Hours after lunch can be logged as either NiT education or volunteer hours (Garden Maintenance - FAMN, with State Park: Woolly Hollow as sponsor), whichever you need.
