Our speaker will be Dr. Laurie Warren, a professor in the biology department at UCA. She earned her PhD in environmental toxicology with a focus on aquatic contamination at Clemson University. She has been teaching in the biology department and environmental science program at UCA since 2000.

Dr. Warren's presentation will dive deeper into some of the aquatic contaminants we have begun to get familiar with in Stream Team, specifically exploring how conventional farming and pesticide use impact our waterways and how toxicologists determine risk as a factor of toxicity and exposure probability.
