AN FYI FOR CAMNATION
The City of Little Rock Sustainability Office (Ray Partridge, Recycling and Sustainability Program Educator, Department of Public Works)
and The Green Corner Store (downtown in SoMa, Shelley Green, owner) have partnered with CALS to bring about the Sustainability Fair on Saturday, November 15thfrom 12–4 p.m. at the newly renovated Central Arkansas Main Library. The event will highlight ways each of us can be more sustainable.
It is free and open to the public. It brings together community members, nonprofits, students and businesses who are passionate about building a more sustainable future. This is a great opportunity for any of us in CAMN to share our mission, connect with the public, and network with like-minded organizations.
The highlight of the day will be a special screening of the documentary ReUse! Because You Can’t Recycle the Planet, followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker. A strong turnout of engaged community members eager to learn about sustainable practices and resources is expected.
- Date/Time: Saturday, Nov. 15 | 12–4 p.m.
