Just a reminder to everyone please to log your volunteer and CE hours NOW, especially if you are certifying this year with 40+ volunteer hours and 8+ CE hours. Everyone who certifies is awarded a pin at the Winter Holiday party on December 11, but the pins have to be ordered and have time to arrive. And for that to happen, we have to have time to look up the hours of people certifying based on what they have entered online, make sure we know what YEAR pin they get, and so on. It's not an instantaneous process!
So, please make sure you have logged your time by the end of November.
If you are close to having the required 40/8 by then and only lack a few more hours you can get in December, let us know that, too -- it's totally do-able if you are willing to DO it! :-) But the window closes at the end of the year, and everything starts fresh again in January.
