NCAMN Pollinator Plant Class for Calico Rock Kids Day Camp
About this event
The students will be educated on the importance of pollinator plants in the survival of mankind, how pollinator plants attract butterflies, bees and other insects Margie Smotherman. Dawn Downing-Wahl, Dist. Coordinator Baxter Cty. Conservation Dist. will lead kids in a hands on activity on how flowers get pollinated. The kids will adjourn to the back porch and make Seed Bombs from mud, seeds and Kaoline Clay and then we will walk to the pollinator garden where they will slingshot Seed Bombs at inaccessible spots of the pollinator garden. We will return to the museum and lunch will be served.
