Subject: Final call to log your Service and Training hours
From: John Sommer - CAMN President

Greetings, CAMNation!

Well, we made it another year! 2025 has been a challenging year for many folks in CAMN, but we move on and hope and work together towards a better 2026.

Just a reminder that our annual Holiday Party will be next week on Thursday at the Witt Stephens Nature Center down at Riverfront Park. Please stay tuned for more details as the day draws closer.

In the meantime, I would like to encourage everyone to please log onto the AMN website and record both your service and training hours. While I know that many of you are not ‘in it for the glory,’ logging your hours helps place a monetary ‘value’ on the services that CAMN and other chapters provide to the state which in turn can have real monetary value to partner organizations who depend heavily on grants. But, why not be recognized for your philanthropic work at the same time? We will be pulling hours on Monday to make the final list for awards to be given out at Thursday’s shindig, thus allowing folks to even get in their hours for this coming weekend!

So, please record your work and training hours no later than Sunday evening so we have an accurate accounting. Keep in mind that you may record hours up to the end of the year. Those hours worked after Sunday will go unrecognized but are no less important!

Thank you, and see you next week!
