Dogwood Trail, a 1.7 mile linear trail (3.5 miles RT) through woods, culminating in picturesque rock cliffs jutting above Bull Shoals Lake. Trail is moderate difficulty, some short uphill stretches.
Location: Trailhead in Lakeview Park, near Lakeview Marina. Directions: from Mountain Home drive west on Highway 178 to Lakeview, turn right on Boat Dock Road by Big Red’s Tackle Shop toward the lake, drive ½ mile into campground, make 2 right turns into the campground areas. Trailhead is uphill in campground C.
