Subject: New independent bookstore in town - possible CE credit
From: Anne Holcomb
In case you didn't know, there's a new independent bookstore in town on Rodney Parham called Sammy's Bookshelf. CAMN member Audrey Cobb says: "It’s a neat little shop. I attended one of the fiction book club meetings recently. They will also have non-fiction in the book club, and their first pick is The Serviceberry." She will likely not be able to attend that session due to a prior commitment, but still wanted to share the information about it with others and asks that you "please forward to anyone else who may be interested!"
The bookclub will discuss The Serviceberry on Tuesday, March 10 at 6:00 p.m. CAMN members who attend can get CE credit for attending.
It is not likely that every book Sammy's Bookclub reads would qualify for CE credit, but CAMN members can also get CE credit for attending CAMN's bookclub on the third Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m., which generally meets at the Fletcher Library. For more information on the CAMN bookclub, get in touch with Corbin Cannon (corbin.cannon2@yahoo.com) to be put on the email list.
