Greetings,
We're back for the next few weeks with Zoom classes running Saturdays from 9AM-Noon and Tuesdays from 6PM-9PM. Andrew Ruegsegger will be providing a great general introduction to plants of all types in the Plant Basics class this week.. As our chapter is deeply involved with our native plant project, and it's nice to have a general plant science review, especially for those of us who haven't had any recent exposure to the subject. This material will help with at least four more classes.
Reminder:
- Please record your hours. The total hours found on the Volunteer Time tab to meet your NiT Training 40 hours will all need to be posted under the NiT Training - NiTs only activity. If you have questions just ask.
- You can make up most classes by watching past Zoom presentations on our YouTube channel found on our Northwest AMN Chapter page on the website. For in-person classes these will be in past years, the earliest being 2023 NiT training, and for some even older. The material, may or may not be exactly the same (this is especially true for mammals), but you can still make up missed training hours. I'll post a list of links for older NiT class recordings that are more difficult to find in your NiT Handbook. You must be logged into the website to view videos or documents.
- Below are the recurring Zoom links.
See you in class,
Jane
