Join us for a full stream sampling event along two branches of the Little Red River in Clinton!

In the morning, we will meet at the Archey Fork of the Little Red River in Archey Fork Park. At noon, we'll take a lunch break before heading a little way down the road to the South Fork of the Little Red River. At both locations, we will conduct water chemistry and aquatic macroinvertebrate sampling to get a full understanding of the health of our aquatic ecosystems.

Please dress appropriately for a full day outside and wading through shallow, rocky creeks. You can bring waders or rubber boots, but I would personally recommend water shoes since it's still pretty warm out. Bring plenty of water and your own lunch. Magnifying glasses are provided, but a loupe or hand lens may be helpful to bring. A limited number of camping chairs will also be provided, but feel free to bring your own. All other Stream Team supplies will be provided.
