This week's Zoom class (Saturday, March 7 and Tuesday March 10) will be "Native and Invasive Plants" and "Life After the Death of Trees."
Rose Gergerich will focus on the value of Native Plants and the Chapter's Native Plant Project which takes locally collected seeds, through propagation, growth and finally sale or distribution of our plants to state and municipal parks, federal lands, schools and other non-profit organizations.
Yannick Dwyer will talk about the little known, but value of trees that are dead or dying. It's a fascinating talk that will leave you thinking about the topic long after the end of class.
