Following is a message from the UA Little Rock Sustainability Committee regarding participation in their upcoming EarthDay celebration.
They would like for CAMN to host a table at the event which takes place Wed., April 22, 10:00a-2:00p. (See green italics below)
For us to do that, we need someone from CAMN to agree be the lead person, which involves taking responsibility for securing and scheduling other CAMN help to staff the table. Norm Berner has hosted it in the past, and will likely be around. Some folks from the UALR Student Environmental Sustainability Club will be assisting with the event in general. LRGC will be present, too, observing. Reed Green will be unable to participate this year because he will be installing a trash boom on Coleman Creek.
LRGC will reach out to the DemGaz and other media outlets to come out and share the event on their platforms.
If you are interested in being the CAMN project lead/being in charge of staffing/scheduling volunteers for a CAMN table, please contact Kerry Evans, CAMN Project Coordinator klevans.301@gmail.com
