BioBlast 26
Greetings AMN Members!

I am very excited about BioBlast 26 being held at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute at Petite Jean (Morrilton) on November 6-8. We have a great line-up of presenters planned for Saturday and we have a couple of Saturday field trips associated with presentations also scheduled. You should be seeing registration information for BioBlast hit your inbox with the next few days! WooHoo!

BUT...I NEED YOUR HELP!

We do not have any Sunday Morning Adventures scheduled for November 8th, and y'all have indicated that this is an important part of the annual BioBlast experience (I agree!).  So, I am hoping 3-4 of you would be willing to step up and lead some sort of an adventure on Sunday morning. It could be a Fall Foliage stroll through Petit Jean trails, a birding focused hike on the WRI Grounds or at Petit Jean, or an archeologically focused hike at Petit Jean, etc. It does not have to be a hike! It could be a guided meditation on the WRI grounds, a Tai Chi or Yoga session at WRI or Petit Jean, or a Nature Journaling session in either location, etc. Maybe you know of somewhere near Petit Jean to do some canoeing or kayaking. Someone could lead a trash collection hike at Petit Jean, or make arrangements with the park to do a small repair project or light trail maintenance. We are not limiting you so long as it fits within the aims of Master Naturalists. These events are done in the morning and should wrap up at or before Noon to give people time to travel home.

If you would be interested in leading a Sunday Morning Adventure, please respond to me at this email with the type of event, the timeframe, and if there would be a limit to the number who may attend your event. Be sure to include your phone number in case I need to reach out to you

Thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone up there!
