Some of us are interested in pursuing grant money to help with CAMN projects. You might be surprised by how many organizations provide grants for small conservation/environmental purposes. How many of you know that our state organization (AMN) provides multiple grants of up to $1000 every year for chapter projects? Entergy and Summit Utilities also provide grants for environmental purposes. Writing small grants to help with our projects can add a very real value to the services that we already provide for our partners and the land owners that we work with.
I am in contact with CALS. They provide an educational session and an online tool to help people search for grants that match their needs. If you are interested in learning about grants, please let me know. I want to get a session scheduled with CALS in mid-to late September.
