Dear Community Volunteer,

 

The Central AR Tree Project Team will be potting trees Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week, and we could use your help if you have some time to donate.

 

We will be at Baucum Nursery in NLR / Galloway Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until noon and Wednesday from 8 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.    We will be at the Central Arkansas Water Nursery between Little Rock and Perryville off Hwy 10 on Higgenbotham Road on Friday from 9 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

 

We have an impressive fleet of potted trees built up, but we have a lot more to plant. Each oak tree that we plant is capable of soaking up more than a ton of carbon dioxide over its lifespan, is essential habitat for 100’s of species of living organisms, and provide habitat for over 2,000 species of living organisms.   Your donation of volunteer time for this project is also a donation to your community, your state and likely to the wildlife that you may enjoy viewing or working to help.
