NEAMN - Falconry: Hunters in the Sky

Once only for the rich and powerful years ago, the art of falconry still persists today. Falconry is the sport of training birds of prey to hunt not just for themselves, but for their trainers as well. During this live demonstration, falconers Kelley and Ash Money will talk about the art of the sport, legalities, and how this art is largely responsible for the salvation of falcons and hawks worldwide. Meet and greet these amazing animals and see some of Arkansas’ native birds of prey up close. All participants are asked to not wear fur clothing that may resemble small prey animals. Also, no pets please. Meet at the Amphitheater. This event is free.
