Continuing Education on Zoom-Arkansas's Wonderful Woodpeckers

Monday, November 16, from 1 to 2
Join Leslie Patrick, ANHC outreach specialist, for her program on Arkansas's Wonderful Woodpeckers. Woodpeckers are some of our most familiar and charismatic birds! Arkansas is home to nine woodpecker species. This program will explore some of their common characteristics, why they are keystone species, and why dead trees are important. Updated information on the Red-cockaded woodpecker, a federally endangered species, will also be shared. Register for this event on the NCAMN calendar. The Zoom invitation will be sent to registrants the day before the program.
