We will be hiking on the OHT/BRT for a mile along a ridge. Exit Ozark Highland Trail/Buffalo River Trail by turning left on the Rock Wall Trail for a gentle descent to the river. From there we will take a route past Visitor Center (closed). Take the River View Trail behind Visitor Center to Collier. We will be viewing the Bluff and explore the Collier Homestead. As a bonus, we hope to go through the only tunnel on the OHT/BRT – which is the culvert that goes under highway 65 to Grinders Ferry. As we hike Tyler Bend area, we will select a good lunch spot.
