SJCA wants us to lead a clean-up of the vacant lot across the street from the main entrance. That lot now belongs to SJCA and they want to clean up litter and start limbing it up. That is the #1 project for this year. We need someone to step up to lead that project, and we need to know ASAP if someone would take that on. Sandy wants to meet with the project lead later this week to walk the new property with her. I hope we can provide a leader and have several assistant leaders to help supervise that project.



The other project they want help with is clearing pastures by removing rocks in Pasture #6 as well as burning three brush piles in that area. We need several people to supervise each burn pile and a couple of people on the rock clean up. The burn project is weather dependent so it may not happen. The rock clearing project is not as difficult as it sounds because we will be moving most of those rocks a very short distance.
