Registration will be at the north end of Interstate Park near the building where the trash dumpster is located, close to where it was on the November 14th event. There's a good-sized parking lot there. See "Registration" location on the map below.

The event will start at 9:00 am Saturday, March 13, end noonish or whenever one wants to depart. I suspect a number will remain into the afternoon.

Folks can enter the Park off the Arch Street entrance noted on the map below.

The "Target" will be upstream below the confluence with the northern arm of Fourche Creek, including Coleman Creek contributions and the main arm of Fourche Creek.

We will have two boats shuttling folks from the "Boat Ramp" to the "Target" and bringing back bags of trash, tires, and such. Transporting individuals and trash back and forth via the "water trail" will be much more efficient than over land.

Individuals can bring their own personal watercraft to paddle up to the target and back, if they wish, following safety protocols, wearing personal flotation devices (PFD's), etc. CAMN will have extra PFD's for folks shuttling on the boats. It's about a 15-minute boat ride, 20 minute paddle, plus-or-minus, depending on the velocity of the flow going upstream.

We will need someone with a pickup truck to shuttle trash bags, tires, and such from the boat ramp to the dumpster location near the registration site.

Before loading the dumpster and piling up the tires, we will want to weigh each bag, tire, etc., beforehand to get a total amount of weight extracted. Bag scale and tire scale will be provided, as well as a log book.

There's a chance of rain and thunderstorms on Saturday, 50% as I type. Everyone should bring their own rain gear; it's not going to be very cold; showers shouldn't stop us. If thunderstorms are in the area, or heading towards the area, we'll cancel or shut down the event and get everyone back to safety.
