Fourche Creek Water Trail tree-snag removal

A group of CAMN members and members of the Arkansas Canoe Club will be gathering at Benny Craig Park on Fourche Creek Friday morning, to paddle downstream to the next 2, 3, 4 tree snags to cut them up and open the channel. We want to get the channel open for unobstructed travel from Benny Craig Park 4.7 miles down to Interstate Park before the weather transitions into autumn. The best time to float the water trail is when the trees are turning colors.

We invite all sawyers and others to assist.

Bring chainsaws, chest waders, PFD's, etc. Fully hydrate before arrival.

If you don't have personal watercraft (canoe or kayak) and need a seat in one, let Reed Green know (501) 681-7507 (call or text), 3drazorb@gmail.com. We'll find you one.

We'll return the next day Saturday the 11th, at 9:00 am for our monthly scheduled "BoomBlast" trash extraction event. Let Reed know if you need watercraft for that, too.

Record time as Stream Team, AGFC
