DLAMN – Hike: Trails of Hot Springs National Park

We will meet at the entrance to the Grand Promenade on Fountain Street at 12:30 p.m. From there we will walk up Fountain St to the Floral Trail. We will turn left onto the Floral Trail to the Lower Dogwood. The Lower Dogwood trail is a loop that will return us to the Floral Trail. There is a significant elevation change as we hike up North Mountain. Total distance will be a little over one mile. This hike is "moderate" in terms of difficulty.

Parking is available along Fountain Street. There is no charge for parking on Saturday.

This hike offers excellent diversity and makes for a beautiful walk. Also, it is of importance to those that want to learn more about woody plants. We have developed a self guided activity to be used along this particular path. The activity is an enjoyable way to get out in nature and earn education hours.

Registration is recommended.
