CAMN General Meeting - In-person and Zoom: Climate Change, Clean Energy, & Birds

About this event

Climate Change, Clean Energy, & Birds. Why does the nation's leading bird conservation group care about climate change and energy? Join Audubon Delta's Glen Hooks for a discussion of how our energy choices affect birds and bird habit. We'll cover how our state and nation is powered, how Audubon is working on legislation at the state and federal level to clean up our dirtiest sources of pollution, and how all Arkansans can work to make our communities healthier for humans and birds. Glen Hooks is the Arkansas Policy Manager for Audubon Delta, where he works on climate and clean energy issues at the state and federal levels. Previously, Glen spent nearly two decades on staff with Sierra Club focusing on energy policy and power plant issues across the country. He is a native Arkansan and a graduate of both Hendrix College and the UALR School of Law. 2 hours CE, sponsor CAMN
