CAMN General Meeting - In-person and Zoom: Using iNaturalist

iNaturalist: An introduction to the app that assists with identification and allows users to share their observations with others. Patrick Solomon, ANHC. Hybrid meeting - live and via Zoom. Patrick Solomon is the Habitat Coordinator for the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. In this position, Patrick is tasked with planning and implementing science-based land management activities that are designed to protect and promote Arkansas’s natural heritage. Prior to working for the ANHC, Patrick was employed as a land management technician by The Nature Conservancy in Missouri, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Arkansas. Since graduating with the 2012 class of Master Naturalists in Training Patrick has gone on to complete a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies through the University of Arkansas Little Rock where he collected historic references to native river cane habitat in Arkansas and compared those references to river cane’s current footprint on the landscape.
